You worry about things that have happened, things that might happen, and things that most likely won’t happen but that you still think about what you would do in that situation, just in case it does happen. Your brain is constantly working on “what-ifs” or replaying conversations. You can’t seem to put your mind at rest other than by “zoning out” watching TV, Netflix, or social media.
We all experience some level of anxiety and stress in our lives. However, when worry and fear stop you from doing day-to-day tasks or you are avoiding certain situations then it can be a problem.

Counselling can help to understand the impact your anxiety or stress is causing you and any causes. We will look at the thoughts you have and how this affects your feelings and behaviour. I will work at your pace ensuring that you feel comfortable and supported during our sessions. I also offer home visits for counselling if you are struggling to leave the house.
